At SikshaPlus (sikshaplus.com, “we,” “our,” “us”), we respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. This policy explains how to report alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and how we handle those reports.
1) How to Send a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you own a copyright, or are authorized to act for a copyright owner, and believe that content on SikshaPlus infringes that copyright, send us a written notice that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact location of the allegedly infringing material on our site (a specific URL for each item).
- Your full name, mailing address and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Notices that are missing any of the required information may not be processed.
2) Counter-Notification
If your content was removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice, and you believe this happened by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notification that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the specific URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith that the material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, mailing address and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal court for your judicial district (or, if you live outside the United States, any judicial district in which SikshaPlus may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or their agent.

3) What Happens Next
- When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we may remove or disable access to the reported material and, where applicable, inform the person who posted it.
- When we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant tells us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the removed material.
4) Official Notifications and Public Information
Many SikshaPlus articles reference or link to official notifications, exam schedules and results published by government bodies, boards and universities. These are shared for public information and educational purposes, with credit to the issuing authority. If you represent an organization and have concerns about how your material is used, please contact us and we will review it promptly.
5) Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate cases, and at our discretion, we may block or remove users or contributors who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
6) Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages. Please make sure you have a good-faith basis before submitting a notice.
