At SikshaPlus, reader trust is everything. Millions of students and job seekers depend on clear, honest information to plan their education and careers. This Ethics Policy sets out the values and standards of conduct our team follows to earn and keep that trust.
1) Honesty and Accuracy
We tell the truth, and we never knowingly publish false, misleading or exaggerated information. Every piece of content is checked against official sources before it goes live. When something is unconfirmed, we say so clearly. For full details on how we verify information, see our Fact-Checking Policy.
2) Putting Students and Job Seekers First
Our readers often make time-sensitive, high-stakes decisions. Because of this, we:
- Never use fear, false urgency or misleading headlines to get clicks
- Never publish fake “result declared,” “admit card out” or “last date extended” claims
- Always point readers to the official website for applications and payments
- Clearly warn readers about common job and exam scams when relevant
3) No Fees, No Middlemen
SikshaPlus never charges readers for job placements, exam results, admit cards or admissions, and never asks for personal documents or bank details. We do not act as an agent for any recruitment or admission process. Anyone asking for money in our name is committing fraud, and we encourage readers to report it to us and to the authorities.
4) Independence and Conflicts of Interest
- Editorial independence: Advertisers, coaching institutes, ed-tech companies and other partners have no say in what we publish or how we cover it.
- No paid promotion in editorial content: We do not accept money to promote any exam, institute, course or college within our articles.
- Sponsored content: Any sponsored content is clearly labelled “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership.”
- Disclosure: If a team member or SikshaPlus has a personal or financial connection to an organization we cover, we disclose it or assign the story to someone else.
5) Gifts and Hospitality
Our team does not accept gifts, payments, free courses or other favours that could influence, or appear to influence, our coverage. Free study material or review access may be accepted only for evaluation purposes, never in exchange for positive coverage, and it will be disclosed where relevant.
6) Fairness and Respect
We treat all institutions, exam bodies and individuals fairly. We do not publish content that is hateful, discriminatory or defamatory. We respect readers of every background, region, language, caste, religion and gender, and we aim to make our content useful and accessible to everyone.
7) Privacy and Protecting Readers
Many of our readers are young students. We:
- Never publish private personal information such as roll numbers, marks or contact details of individual candidates without consent
- Handle any information readers share with us carefully and in line with our Privacy Policy
- Do not use readers’ questions or comments publicly in a way that could identify them without permission
8) Responsible Use of AI
AI tools may assist with drafts, summaries or formatting. Every AI-assisted article is reviewed, fact-checked and approved by our editorial team before publishing. People, not machines, are responsible for everything we publish.
9) Transparency and Accountability
We are open about who we are, how we work and how we make money (through advertising). When we make mistakes, we admit them and correct them quickly, as explained in our Corrections Policy. We welcome criticism and take every complaint seriously.
10) Policy Updates
We may update this Ethics Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date shows when it was last changed. If you keep using the Site, you accept the revised policy.
Feedback and Contact
If you have concerns about our conduct, or believe we have fallen short of these standards, please email [email protected]. We read every message and respond where needed.
